Where Is Baby?

Babies are wonderful gifts from God. The first nine months prior to their arrival can be difficult and hard but they are worth the adorable “bundle of joy” that comes. My seventh child arrived with a smile on her face that said, “You can do this Mother!” I needed that smile. She was a delight, by now I knew the routine. It took a while to get used to feeding in the middle of the night, but with my seventh it was a joy. I loved dressing my babies in new little outfits to show the world how cute they were. Nap time was cherished to regain my strength and sanity. How does one express the feelings of a parent with a baby’s first smile, first giggle, first words, and steps? As the babies grew, playtime filled our home with laughter along with Tom and Jerry antics. A night time routine as often as possible brought about stories that never grew old and lullabies filled with folk and church songs. My husband and I wanted to show our children as much of this beautiful land as we could while they were under our tutelage and we did. We loved having them with us wherever we traveled.
