We have had many Tea Parties; sometimes they were in the summer, sometimes in the winter. They were always fun. Little girls and boys love a Tea Party, and don’t forget the teenagers. You are never too old for a Tea Party. Foods do not need to be fancy. Peanut butter sandwiches, celery sticks, and carrot sticks are good enough. I do have an old lace tablecloth, we have often used. Sometimes we eat on a children’s tea set, sometimes we sit at the dining table with delicate crystal and china. Sometimes we wear dress-up clothes with fancy hats as shown in this picture and sometimes we just sit down for a little tea party in work clothes. As the Queen, I am happy to join any tea party.
