We often found ourselves together on Halloween nights making a Witches Brew with dry ice and Homemade Root Beer Extract. We called it the Witches Brew. As you drop the dry into the sugar and water mixture a fog emerges suggesting a Witches Brew. We loved the look on people’s faces as the fog floated out into the air. One year while serving a mission for our Church, my sweetheart and I went around to the doors of other senior couples giving out a treat and singing, “We on sidewalks, we’re on porches, Dressed in costumes to scare Through the city we’re ringing the doorbells. Trick or treating candy eating ...Silvery yells, shivery yells. That’s the Halloween nitty-gritty...[1] In the picture on the side, we are not making a Witches Brew but rather a special dessert with sherbert and raspberries. I love the concentrated look on my husband’s face as he stirs the mixture. It required his muscles to make.
