I see trees of green Red roses too I see them bloom ... - Louis Armstrong
When our children were young, my husband had a convention in MIAMI, Florida. He always liked the family alone, and we owned a motorhome. I was super excited; there were many places I wanted our children to see. We began with the Kennedy Space Center in Houston, and our next stop was the “Birth of the Blues” in New Orleans. I hope they will never forget the songs of Louis Armstrong, “What A Wonderful World and the words, “I see trees of green Red roses too I see them bloom for me and you ... We loved his rich voice. My all-time favorite is in the movie “Hello Dolly.” We arrived in New Orleans at dusk and walked all eight of our children to the site of “the Birth of the Blues.” It was an exciting night.
