Some years ago, we held a Family Reunion in Nauvoo,” the City Beautiful”. For each day we celebrated an ancestor and the country they came from; such as Holland, Switzerland, England, Italy, and Belgium with food, stories, and mementos. Each family was given a family and was in charge of cooking food that represented their country. Besides eating delicious food, we watched a play called “Sunset on the Mississippi” and went on a wagon ride pulled by oxen. dressed up in funny pioneer clothing and took pictures, played pioneer games like STICK PULL, WALK on STILTS, and TUG of WAR. Our final event was a play titled “Joseph,” done to perfection. it was a “Never to be forgotten!” Family Reunion.
