Friends are significant. They influence who you are and what you do in life. It is most important that parents are keenly aware of friends who spend time with their children.. As a child, I took dance lessons with a friend and went to her home to play often. I remember a three foot Raggedy Ann doll we carried down from an attic room to play with. As a result, when my children were young, I made them Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls and purchased some of the books. (This picture is of a son with Raggedy Andy watching TV.) Not only did my friend teach me about Raggedy Ann and Andy but she taught me to swim, to laugh, and become better in my school lessons. I will be forever grateful for this wonderful friend and the adventures we had together.
