Love You Forever

Written by Robert Munsch, Illustrated by Sheila McGraw

As written on Amazon: A young woman holds her newborn son And looks at him lovingly.

Softly she sings to him: "I'll love you forever I'll like you for always As long as I'm living My baby you'll be."

So begins the story that has touched the hearts of millions worldwide. Since publication in l986, Love You Forever has sold more than 30 million copies in paperback and the regular hardcover edition (as well as hundreds of thousands of copies in Spanish and French).

MY REVIEW: This book tells of a parents love for his child. He wrote it after he and his wife had two stillborn babies. I love this book. When the children I cherished began breaking away from family ties, I gave them this book. The story helps them understand through the antics of youth and adulthood they are still held in the arms of their parents. All parents and children will gain from this precious story that takes a child through the cycle of life and beyond.
