½ cup butter

2 large green peppers (cut in long strips)

1 cup onions diced

1 tsp. salt

1 ¼ cup hot water

2 cups celery chopped

1 can LA Choy Bean Sprouts (drain well)

Or 1 can mixed vegetables (drain well)


Flavoring

2 Tbs. cold water

1 Tbs. soy sauce

1 Tbs. brown gravy sauce or Worchester sauce

2 Tbs. cornstarch

1 tsp. sugar


Place butter, green peppers, onion, salt, and celery in large sauce pan. Cook for 5 minutes. Add bean sprouts; cook until sprouts are heated through. Mix water, soy sauce, brown gravy or Worchester sauce, cornstarch, and sugar. Add to vegetable mix and cook until thickened.
