1 pound of lean ground beef
1 medium onion
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1 (24 ounce) Hunts Classic Italian Garlic & Herb Pasta Sauce
1 {16 ounce) package of pasta noodles cooked according to directions.
SAUCE: Combine ground beef and onion in a large sauce pan. Cook and stir until meat is brown. Drain grease. Add salt and pepper. Add Hunts Classic Italian Garlic and Herb Pasta Sauce. Heat together. Serves 8.
NOTE: I like my sauce to have a slight sweetness and add 1 tablespoon of sugar.
NOODLES: I do not like my sauce and noodles mixed. I think it is much tastier to place a serving of noodles on the plate, then top them with the sauce. Grated cheese can be added if liked.
