I LOVE SHEPHERD’S PIE
1 lb. hamburger
salt and pepper to taste
1 medium onion chopped
1 can cut green beans
1 can tomato soup
8 servings Instant Potatoes
1 egg beaten
Brown hamburger in medium fry pan with salt and pepper to taste, and chopped onion.
Add drained cut green beans. Add tomatoes soup. Place in 8 x 8 in. casserole dish.
Mix 8 servings of Instant Potatoes according to package directions. Stir in beaten egg.
Spoon potatoes on top of hamburger, beans, and soup. Bake for one half hour at 350°.
HISTORY: I was introduced to this recipe when a senior in High School and have served it again and again. It always seems to be enjoyed.
