"Macaroni & Cheese - Children's Comfort Food"
1 (8-oz) package elbow macaroni ½ tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter. ¼ tsp. pepper
3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour 2 cups milk
1 (8-oz) block cheese cut into small pieces
Prepare pasta according to package directions. Keep warm. Milt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat, whisk in flour until smooth. Gradually stir in milk and cook, stirring constantly for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in salt and pepper, 1 cup cut up cheese, and cooked pasta. Spoon mixture into lightly greased baking dish, top with bread crumbs. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until bubbly hot. Serves six people.
