Best Chocolate Chip Cookie

2 cups plus 2 Tbs. flour

½ tsp. soda

½ tsp. salt

12 Tbs. butter melted and cooled till warm

1 cup brown sugar

½ cup granulated sugar

1 egg plus 1 egg yolk

2 tsp. vanilla extract

1½ cups semi sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325°. Whisk dry ingredients, except for sugars, together and set aside. Combine butter and sugars, beat in egg yolk and vanilla, add dry ingredients slowly and stir till combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Cook for 11 to 14 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
